February 2024 - Richard's striking black and white image of a shiver of juvenile Gray Reef Sharks called "Squadron Formation" is highly commended in the 2024 Underwater Photographer of the Year competition!

November 2023 - for the second year running Richard has two photographs shortlisted in the prestigious British Photography Awards! They were Apartment Living and Rushing the Lens.

January 2023 - Richard's artistic black & white image of a Silvertip Shark in motion places in the 2022 Ocean Art contest!
