Shark in the Shallows

This black and white photograph, taken in the Red Sea, shows an Oceanic White Tip shark swimming in shallow water.  The Oceanic White Tip is an ocean-going shark and in recent decades its numbers have been drastically reduced - some estimates state by as much as 90%.  This shark has been one of a biggest victims of fishing bi-catch and the illegal trade in shark fins.
