Feeding After Dark

This photograph shows a Reef Manta in the Maldives swimming and feeding after dark.  Manta Rays are "filter feeders".  They open their mouths to let water flow into their mouths and through their "gill plates", which catch the plankton on which they feed.  The gills can very clearly be seen in this artistic photograph.

Available in a variety of sizes as a print on fine art paper, or wall art on canvas or metal.  This print is a signed, limited edition, of only 25 prints.
