Solitude

This photograph shows an Atlantic Longarm Octopus sitting alone on the ocean floor surrounded by its rubble pile.  Taken in the West Palm Beach area of Florida.  Richard says "The small critter sat confidently and curiously beside its den, not at all concerned by my presence.  Ocassionally it would even extend a tentacle to investigate my camera!"
