Hangin' in the Current
The remote northern Galapagos Island of Wolf is constantly lashed by strong currents that bring in rich nutrients and attract diverse ocean life. Among the local residents are several beautiful Eagle Rays. In this picture two of them can be seen calmly hovering in the vigorous current. Meanwhile, to get this photograph, Richard was grasping tight onto a rock to avoid being swept away!
